Concrete doesn’t always need to be demolished. Sometimes it just needs to be cut out exactly where you need it.

For this job we were called in to cut through an existing concrete slab at this apartment site, creating a clean, controlled opening without turning the surrounding area into a construction zone.

Wet cutting, extraction and the right equipment meant we could get through the slab while keeping dust and slurry under control.

The result? A cut that’s ready for the next trade to take over.

Another section sliced. Another job moving forward.

Your subcontractors should make your life easier.
That’s something we believe pretty strongly at Slice It Right.

We want the Slicers to be the crew you’re happy to see roll onto site. Switched on, easy to deal with, good on the tools and ready to get stuck in from the minute they arrive.

Because when you bring someone onto your project, you’re not just hiring their skill. You’re getting the people that come with it.

And we like our people to get involved.

What’s a tradie’s most useful tool? The shovel, it’s truly groundbreaking. 😂
There is plenty of machinery around, plenty happening on site, but there’s always someone on the shovel getting stuck into the bits the machines can’t quite reach.
And that’s what we want from our crew.

Everyone jumps in. Everyone plays their part. And whether it’s cutting, breaking, operating machinery or clearing up behind it, we work together to keep the job moving.

Good people, good banter and a crew that gets the job done. 👊

Heavy lifting, made to look easy💪🏼😂

When you slice a massive section of concrete, you need a crew that knows exactly how to get it off-site without slowing down the build.

No double-handling. No cutting corners. Just a mini-loader, a heavy-duty chain setup, and a team that clears the way so the next trade can roll right in.

We don’t just cut the concrete, we manage the demolition, handling the heavy work cleanly, safely, and exactly to code.

This section was cut down to a manageable size, secured, the removal path was cleared, and the right machine was brought in to take the weight and move it safely out of the building.

It might look like the fun part of the job (and we won’t lie, it kind of is 😂), but there’s plenty of thinking that happens before the pulling starts.

Plan it. Control it. Then get it out of the way. 👊

Deep, flush, track-guided cuts for projects that can’t afford a millimetre of error.

The wall saw is one of our favourite tools for major structural and design changes. It gives builders the ability to create large, precise openings through serious concrete and turn existing spaces into something completely different.

A wall that was built to stay can become a new doorway, a larger opening, or the beginning of a whole new space.

That’s why we love it.

There’s something about those first few moments on site.

It’s still relatively quiet. The gear’s coming out, we’re working through the plan, sorting the inevitable little things and having a laugh before we get stuck into it.

We show plenty of the big moments on here, but these are the moments that actually make up our days.

The conversations. The problem solving. The banter. The crew getting ready to take on whatever the day throws at us.

Then someone fires up the machine and it’s game on. 👊

This aged care facility in Balcatta was ready for a major transformation, and before anything new could go down, everything old had to come up.

Room by room, hallway by hallway, our crew worked through approximately 4,000m² of existing vinyl flooring, stripping the building back and preparing it for the next stage of its refurbishment.

Some came up with a bit of persuasion. Some needed a lot more convincing. That’s where having the right equipment, plenty of hands and a crew that knows how to keep a large strip-out moving makes the difference.

Because the new floor might be what everyone eventually sees.

But someone’s got to create the clean slate first.
