Humphray St Sewer Main Coating

We were engaged by Central Highlands Water to complete protective coating works on approximately 250m of overhead sewer main along Humphray St.

The scope included full preparation and coating of the pipeline, along with preventative maintenance on all pipe supports removing corrosion, treating affected areas, and applying a Dulux epoxy system for long-term protection.

The works were delivered safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption.

Big credit to the team on this one quality work as always.

Sometimes the best decision onsite is knowing when to stop!

We had planned to carry out a tank inspection at the Cohuna with Coliban Water. The inspection was to be completed via crane and man cage, which was also intended to provide valuable insight into developing a safe methodology for upcoming works.
A significant amount of planning had gone into the inspection by the Kings Infrastructure team to ensure the works could be carried out safely and efficiently.
After completing a dry run of the lift and assessing the conditions onsite, winds began picking up earlier than forecast. A collective decision was made between Kings Infrastructure, the Coliban Water team and Oz Cranes and Rigging to postpone the works.
When working at heights using crane access equipment, conditions can change quickly and safety always comes first.
We’ll regroup and return on another suitable day to complete the inspection safely.
It’s always a privilege working alongside the professional team at Coliban Water and Oz Cranes and Rigging.

Infrastructure that’s been in service since 1959.

We’re proud to have completed the Mt Helen PRV and pipework upgrade for Central Highlands Water, renewing infrastructure that has supported the network for more than 65 years.

The works involved removing ageing infrastructure and installing new infrastructure, including a new pressure reducing valve assembly and upgraded pipework to ensure reliable operation for the future.

As with the earlier stages of this project, careful planning and coordination allowed the works to be delivered safely with no customer disruptions.

A great collaborative effort between Kings Infrastructure and the Central Highlands Water team, and a result we’re proud to deliver.

We are currently progressing renewal works at a Central Highlands Water site, removing ageing fittings and commencing installation of new infrastructure.
It is a privilege to be involved in upgrading assets of this age, infrastructure that has supported the network for decades, and to contribute to extending its service life for the future.
A key priority throughout these works has been careful planning and ex*****on to avoid impact to customers and maintain water quality. All external valve cut ins were completed safely under a structured methodology, with no unplanned customer disruption. The only service interruption was a single scheduled shutdown, coordinated in advance.
This stage has been delivered through strong collaboration between Kings Infrastructure and Central Highlands Water, with a shared focus on planning, risk management and maintaining network continuity.
One existing valve remains in service and will be replaced as part of the next stage of works once the tank is taken offline under planned conditions.
We will share completion photos once the full scope is finalised.
Proud of the team for the planning, professionalism and ex*****on shown on this project.

🏁 Lucindale Season Opener – What a Weekend! 🏁

What a great weekend of racing at Lucindale with good people, good competition and plenty of laps under the belt.

Torah had a solid start to the season:

🥈 Heat 1 – 2nd place
❌ Heat 2 – DNF (got a little excited into Turn 1 and grabbed the windrow!)
🥉 Heat 3 – 3rd place
🏁 Heat 4 – 4th place

No final this round – points were based off the 4 heats as we ran out of time.

We’re really happy with how she’s progressing. Considering we’re running a brand new engine and a rebuilt kart, we’re still ironing out a few bugs – but she’s showing a lot of promise and confidence already 💪🔥

I jumped out there myself just to “kill some time” in between Torah’s races… mainly to remind myself I’ve still got it (or at least that’s what I keep telling myself! 😆).

Managed to lead the 3rd heat for 3 laps, then due to some unsavoury driving by others I watched the next 3 from the infield — but that’s racing 🏎️💨

Big thanks to the Lucindale Kart Club for putting on a top weekend as usual – always a great track and even better people 🙌

Bring on the next round! 👊🏁

Fleet reset day done and dusted. ✅
With some of the team in refresher training, we used the time to get the fleet and gear that missed out at the end of 2025 100% ready for kickoff in 2026.

Yesterday we loaded all our gear back into the vehicles after test & tag and calibration, electrical equipment, first aid kits, fire equipment, lifting gear, confined space equipment and working at heights gear.

We also completed a full tools + materials stocktake, and completed our plant & equipment risk assessments so we’re starting the year organised, compliant, and ready to roll.

Big thanks to Chris at Jim’s Test & Tag, Jim’s Fire Safety and Jim’s First Aid Kits, along with ISH24 and SteerSafe for helping keep everything compliant and on point.

Ready for a 2026! Let’s go
