The giveaway is officially closed! I’ll be drawing the winners this afternoon. Thanks to everyone who entered and good luck! šŸ¤ž

It’ll be drawn completely at random, although the method will be slightly chaotic… you’ll understand when I post the video šŸ˜‚

Also a friendly reminder that I have more than 2,400 of those little 1L bottles sitting here, and I confidently told my wife I’d sell them all by Christmas 🫣

So please help a brother out, save my marriage and buy a bottle or 12 šŸ˜‚

This one’s for all the random nannas from overseas who keep commenting that we’re ā€œruiningā€ lawns 🤣

I don’t post before & afters of renovations that often, so here’s 10 of them from literally hundreds we’ve done over the years

Kikuyu, buffalo, couch & zoysia. Different lawns, same idea. Remove the excess thatch, reset the lawn and let it come back better.

Swipe through and tell me which one we ruined the most šŸ˜‚

Kikuyu (a filthy w**d) and Buffalo (best lawn ever) getting a proper reset.
Scarified, groomed in 4 directions, scalped, cored and cleaned up.
4 weeks later šŸ‘Œ

Full renovation for this buffalo lawn, removed the thatch build up, cored, scalped, topdressed, looking much better afterwardsmaintained with a reel mower

This machine hadn’t missed a beat in 3 years, there hasn’t been a lawn thick enough yet to make it stall, it pulls up deep thatch in one pass with ease

5 reasons you should regularly trim around your hole:

1: It looks bigger when the surrounding growth is kept under control.

2: It’s much easier to find when things aren’t getting out of hand.

3: A neat edge makes the whole area look better.

4: Your partner will appreciate the extra effort.

5: And most importantly, nobody wants to deal with an overgrown hole.

Take your time, use sharp tools and don’t get too aggressive around the sensitive areas.

A little maintenance goes a long way. āœ‚ļø

Keep your hole tidy.

Don’t often show this part of the reno as it’s usually too dangerous to have anyone film up close. After we’ve removed all the thatch and there’s nothing left, we’ll scalp it with the reel mower so we know what level to whip the edges down to with the big whip Shindaiwa USA b410ts

Mind blowing how much thatch can hide in a lawn. Couch / Bermuda grass is the worst for it
