8 years of making a difference!

We’re incredibly proud of our 8 year partnership with Starlight Children’s Foundation Australia and of having raised an amazing $222,047 so far! 🎉

Together, we’ve helped bring smiles to 5,693 seriously ill children across Australia.

Over the years, our partnership has been supported through our Pool Pro Signature Range Accessories, and more recently, with the introduction of Pool Pro Starlight Ultrafine Pool Salt, along with a range of fundraising events.

And this year, our Starlight Race Day fundraising event was a real highlight. With the incredible support of our Pool Pro community, the event made a significant contribution towards reaching this amazing $200,000+ milestone! 💜⭐

Thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey so far. Your support has helped us reach this incredible milestone, and you should all be very proud!

Here’s to 8 years of supporting Starlight, and to everything still to come!

𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻. 𝟳𝟮 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀. This pool sat uncovered and untreated all winter. By September, the water was dark green with zero visibility.

The recovery process: Maxi Floc Plus to drop the debris. Vacuum to waste. Tropiclear/Tropical Pool Algaecide. Miraclear Clarifier to polish. Enviro-Clean through the filter. Full rebalance.

72 hours from green to swim-ready. If your pool looks like the left side right now, do not panic. Your Lo-Chlor dealer has seen worse and fixed it. 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝗟𝗼-𝗖𝗵𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗿: 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗹𝗼𝗿.𝗰𝗼𝗺.𝗮𝘂

Every year we see the same mistakes at spring opening. Avoid these and you will save yourself time, money, and frustration.

Mistake 1: Waiting too long to remove the cover. Open early while the water is still cool.

Mistake 2: Ignoring worn pump lids and o-rings. Cracked pump lids, dried-out o-rings, and damaged gaskets cause leaks. Lubricate with Hydra-Slip.

Mistake 3: Starting circulation with clogged baskets. Clear them out before you start the system.

Mistake 4: Skipping the water test. Take a sample to your pool shop before you add anything.

Mistake 5: Running the system with damaged seals. A small leak at opening becomes a big problem by summer.

Taking a small amount of extra time at opening saves you a large amount of time and expense during the season.

Happy International Cat Day! 🐱💧

This little supervisor is keeping a close eye on the pool... but we're not convinced they're ready to take the plunge just yet. 👀

Some pets love the water, while others are happiest watching the action from a safe distance.
