Armchair Racer We specialise in 1:32 scale model slot cars but also support 1:24 scale and 1:43 scale.

Since its beginnings in 1995, Armchair Racer has grown and now offers a full range of services to the slot car community including:

We relocated to 7/19 Hotham Pde (across the road from our old sit

e) during mid 2018. Our showroom is smaller than our previous showrooms and only a small quantity of our extensive range is on display, however, our range has and continues to increase and we are happy to show you any items you are interested in when visiting us.

Hi Guys,
Thought you might be interested in picture of my finished NSR Yellow Hypercar.
Using some painting, a few minor detail changes and modified Patto’s Place decals.
I have depicted the winning privateer Ferrari 499P from the 2025 Le Mans race. As you would know, the NSR generic Hypercar most closely resembles the Ferrari. I’m pleased with result and this car flies on my Policar home track.
The red Ferrari 499 P represents the 3rd placed car at Le Mans from 2024. It’s a lovely resin body from Italy, which has been detailed and sprayed and fitted with a 3D printed chassis and Slot.it AW motor pod and long can motor.
A very nice runner also but not in the NSR league.

This weeks track was started during COVID and has been an ongoing project ever since.
The track is Scalextric 2.3 m x 4 m.
We were shocked when Neil from Victoria told us:
Unfortunately I’m going to have to sell as I need the garage space for storage as we are traveling Australia for 12 months in our caravan.
If any of your readers are interested in an ongoing project I’m happy to sell everything together far cheaper than I paid for it.

This track grabbed our attention as it is named Rattlesnake Raceway.
Unlike Australia, Rattlesnakes are found in Canada, where this track is located.
However, Australia has more venomous than any other country in the world. And Armchair Racer can always come to the rescue having a snake catcher in our team.
