What does wind rating actually mean? 👇

When we quote a shed, one of the first things we need is the site address — and there’s a good reason for it.

Your shed’s wind rating determines the wind loads the structure needs to be designed to withstand.

It can be affected by things like:

• Where the shed is being built
• The surrounding terrain and exposure
• Whether the site is protected or more open
• The wind region for the area

That’s why two sheds that look exactly the same can sometimes require different engineering and materials depending on where they’re going.

Getting the wind rating right from the start means your shed is designed to suit the conditions at your property — not just picked from a standard plan.
