Not every project gets ridden as hard as this one. 🛹 MPH Projects builds infrastructure that communities actually use - bowls, rails, paths, and flow. If the next generation's going to be outside, they need somewhere worth riding to. MPH Projects.

🌳 School Holiday Trial: Extending Hours at Newland Park

During Council's recent community consultation about Newland Park, we heard some great feedback and suggestions! One stand-out was to extend how long the lights at Newland remain on!

Well, you may have already noticed Newland Park being lit up longer even with the sun going down earlier!

That's because we've commenced the first of TWO trial periods over the school holidays to extend how long the lights stay on:
📅 Term 1 / Easter Holidays: Thursday 2 April - Monday 13 April 2026
📅Term 2 / Winter Holidays: Friday 19 June - Sunday 12 July 2026

These extended hours are trial only - no changes are locked in! After the trial periods, we'll see how it worked for residents and skatepark users before making any decisions.

✨ What this means:
There's even MORE reason to get outdoors in the eve' with your kids, family and friends at Newland Park - whether it's to hang out (or hang off the climbing wall!), send it on the skate ramps, or enjoy a BBQ dinner!
