🏁 FINKE DESERT RACE 2026 – DAY 1 IS HERE! 🏁

Today, riders tackle the legendary 227km run from Alice Springs to Finke — a track that’s fast, rough, dusty, and guaranteed to test both rider and machine.

A huge good luck to all competitors today, especially our MBC crew, close friends and sponsored riders.

A massive shoutout as well to the MBC crew who are already set up and ready at the fuel stop down the Finke track. While the riders get the glory, these legends are a critical part of the race effort—working in the dust to keep the bikes fuelled, the stops smooth, and the riders moving towards Finke. 👏⛽🏍️

Give it everything, keep it pinned, and stay safe on your journey into Finke! 🔥🏍️

💪 227 kilometres. One destination. there and back.

The time has come to bid farewell to Chris Daffy. He started with MBC in January 2014 and hasn’t looked back. From a young apprentice to now Electrical Supervisor. Thanks for all the years you have put in! What a ride. Lots of laughs and banter as well. He is off to Mildura for the next chapter. Cheers Daffy 🍻

Massive shout out to the 3 MBC crew taking on the legendary West Macs Monster in Central Australia this weekend!

A huge effort from all involved, with Will Mcnabb tackling the absolutely brutal 125km slog starting this morning — what an incredible challenge and a true testament to the legend himself! 💪🔥

Also flying the flag for the team on Sunday are Alex Morton and Devlin Foott taking on the 25km event — no small feat in that terrain and conditions!

These events demand serious grit, determination and resilience, and we couldn’t be prouder of the guys/gals having a crack out there in the heart of Australia.

Wishing Will, Alex and Dev all the very best for the event — stay strong, stay safe and enjoy every moment out on the trails! We’ll all be cheering you on from home! 👏🏃‍♂️⛰️
