Congratulations to Nate Chapman, who completed his Carpentry Apprenticeship with Scope Building NT Pty Ltd earlier this year! ๐
Nate has always been interested in building, so completing Certificates I and II in Construction during school helped confirm that carpentry was the career pathway he wanted to pursue.
His apprenticeship journey has not been without its challenges. Nate started his apprenticeship remotely in Jabiru before making the decision to move to Darwin on his own, continuing his apprenticeship away from his family and friends.
Since joining Scope Building NT, Nate has gained valuable exposure, experience and opportunities, and credits the support of his employer as an important part of successfully completing his apprenticeship. ๐คฉ
For Scope Building NT, Nateโs achievement is another example of its commitment to training local apprentices, with more than 70 apprentices trained over the past 26 years.
Now qualified, Nate will continue working with Scope Building NT, building his skills and experience on the job. One day, he hopes to give back by mentoring other apprentices.
Congratulations again, Nate! ๐ฅณ
