The time for change has come.

Claudius Fabrication will be making the move to Mansfield in 2027, but already services the Mansfield Shire, the wider Hume Region and Melbourne. Well that’s a wrap on our most recent project at Marysville Holiday Park in conjunction with Murrindindi Shire Council.

We removed an old access ramp to their games room that had seen better days and replaced it with a brand new fully compliant, disabled access code, galvanized steel ramp that should have no problems standing the test of time.

This new ramp was partially pre-made in our workshop before being transported out and craned in onsite saving unnecessary downtime and closures onsite.

Thanks goes out to Milkrete Concreting Solutions for their concreting works at the start of the ramp.

The Theme for this week has been TRUCKS. I finished off some work for one of our many local government departments today. This time, Fisheries. On one of their trucks that transports fish around the countryside to populate rivers and streams.

I made new steps on either side of the tray that are safer for use by the crew by the addition of an extra rung, along with adding 3rd point of contact handles up high.

Earlier in the week I managed to squeeze out a few hours of work on my own crane truck too, adding some container hold down points on the tray and some spotlights for a much needed lighting upgrade.

Quick little job for a local customer today. I Tig welded on some aluminium flats to the customer’s bullbar to facilitate mounting of an oversize sign.

Introducing the newest addition to the Alexandra Stainless Fleet.

Our truck mounted knuckle crane. Capable of 1000kg at 9mtr reach it’s guaranteed to out lift me 💪.

“Reach” out if you have any projects that require loading, unloading, transport or lifting works.

FYI, the truck itself has a 9mtr tray and is good to carry 17,000kg.

Calling on anyone in Vic with an 08-16 F250 and 17-22 F250 that is looking to put a platform style rack on their Ute.

I have backbone style mounts in stock to suit 99-07 cab shapes.

What I am looking for is someone with an 08-16 cab that I can spend an hour or so verifying the bracing under the roof to make sure my 99-07 racks fit.

The offer, a set of mounts right there and then for $250 (assuming correct fitment of my current design)

Also looking for someone with a 17-22 that I can prototype the mount fitment. This would again take an hour or so.

The offer, a set of mounts for $300 delivered once they’ve made it through production and Powdercoating.

The catch, I am in Alexandra, Vic.

Yesterday saw me swap fire truck keys for my own truck keys to help out in delivering hay to local fire affected farmers. Helping out as best we can is what the country community and spirit is all about.

I have been fortunate with my house and factory in town being unaffected by these recent fires but others in our community have not. The devastation I have seen firsthand in our area is heartbreaking.

I plan on being back in the factory full time from Monday 19th. Apoligies if I have missed and or not returned your call this past week. Please reach out again and I will schedule you in.
