How good does this modular timber slat façade look going together?

The pre-cut and pre-drilled timber slatting supplied by Dahlsens was fitted off to steel framework, providing a great architectural finish with the durability needed for a public amenities building.

Delivered for Snowy Valleys Council , our scope included the complete new build, site and civil works, service connections and external works.

Sustainabylt delivered the extension and upgrade of the Tallangatta Bowls Club for Towong Shire Council, providing construction delivery, contractor coordination and design input throughout the project.

The works included an extension to the existing clubhouse, new DDA-compliant amenities, a distinctive curved architectural feature wall, upgraded spectator seating around the bowling greens and associated civil works.

Working within an existing community facility, the project required careful integration of new and existing works, practical design input and close coordination across the construction programme.

The result — an upgraded, accessible and more functional facility for the Tallangatta community.

A renewed space for culture, connection and early learning.

Sustainabylt has completed the commercial refurbishment of Koori First Steps Preschool in Albury–Wodonga, commissioned by local government for use by Mungabareena Aboriginal Corporation.

The upgraded facility provides a culturally safe and welcoming environment where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children can strengthen their cultural identity, build confidence and develop foundations for lifelong learning.

The works were delivered from architectural documentation prepared by Melbourne-based Kirby Architects.

A special acknowledgement to our Site Manager, Cam Hawthorn, for leading the works with care, professionalism and respect for the significance of the facility.

We live for these kind of projects in live environments with changing conditions. That’s what makes us want to come to work- change, variety and being able to look at the end of a project and say to our family ‘we did that’. Our team is doing amazing work in this space. 👍👍

Our team are getting after it this morning. 💪💪 How good is the cooler temps? The construction crew lead by ‘the man’ and the .plumbing team have been working solidly while the boss has been chasing fires and sorting a burnt farm. Stay tuned for progress footage and the project starting to reveal itself.

The views daily made this project awesome. Our construction team was able to assist in delivering this important track through cultural land and providing safe access for all to enjoy.
