As the scaffold comes down, the true nature of the structure is finally revealed.
What was once concealed behind layers of temporary works is now emerging as a highly articulated form, each slab edge uniquely profiled, each curve deliberately resolved. There is no repetition here, no standard detail carried from level to level. Every edge has been individually considered, coordinated, and constructed to align with the architectural intent. It’s a process that demands not only precision on paper, but discipline and consistency on site to bring it together exactly as designed.
Delivering this level of complexity requires a deep integration between design and construction. From set-out through to formwork, reinforcement, and pours, each stage has required careful planning and ex*****on to maintain the integrity of the geometry. Tolerances are tight, sequencing is critical, and the margin for error is minimal, particularly when working with exposed slab edges that define the building’s identity.
Now, as the scaffold is progressively stripped away, the outcome of that effort is becoming visible. The building begins to take on its final character, with the interplay of light, shadow, and form highlighting the uniqueness of each level. It’s a moment in the program where the vision starts to translate into reality, and the finer details can finally be appreciated.
