PROJECT SPOTLIGHT | BULKHEAD REPAIR
It’s all in the preparation! 👌

The original plasterboard on this bulkhead had already been removed by the owner, leaving the framework exposed and ready for the A to Z team to work their magic.

Before any new plasterboard went up, we first needed to make sure the existing framework was level, straight and ready to give us the best possible finish.
Once everything was where it needed to be, new plasterboard was installed, external corners were beaded and the entire area was Level 4 finished.

Jobs like this are a great reminder that what happens behind the plasterboard is just as important as the finished surface you see at the end.

SMALL PATCHES, BIG DIFFERENCE!

Not every job has to be a big one to make a difference!

The A to Z team recently completed a number of wall and ceiling patches, repairing areas left behind from previous works and alterations.

Each area was carefully patched and flushed, with the team working to achieve a smooth Level 4 finish ready for painting.

And the results speak for themselves! Some of these photos were actually taken before the team had completed the final sand....and you can already barely tell where the original patches were!

Once sanded and painted, these repairs are designed to blend seamlessly back into the surrounding wall or ceiling, leaving you wondering where the hole was in the first place.

🔨 PROJECT SPOTLIGHT | MILLBROOK🔨

What a difference a bit of plasterboard can make!

The A to Z team recently completed this brick cover-up in Millbrook, transforming the existing internal brick walls and giving this home a fresh new look.

Plasterboard was installed directly to the existing brickwork before being flushed and sanded to a Level 4 finish, leaving smooth walls ready for painting.

Such a simple way to completely change the look and feel of a home without the need to remove all of that existing brickwork!

We can’t wait to see this one once the painting and finishing touches are complete! 🏡

🦠 Mould on your ceiling? Here's what you need to know 🦠

If mould keeps coming back, it's usually a sign of an underlying moisture problem, it's not just a dirty ceiling. Common causes include roof leaks, plumbing leaks, condensation, or poor ventilation.
