Window ➡️ Door 🚪 | Laundry Access Upgrade – North Brisbane

This laundry used to have a window but no direct way outside, so every trip to the clothesline meant going the long way round.

The window is now a proper external door, straight from the laundry to the yard.

We hung and fitted the new timber door with a tall frosted glass panel. It lets plenty of natural light in and still keeps things private. We finished it off with matte black hardware and a deadlock.

It's a simple change that makes a big difference to how the house works day to day.

Thinking about changing a window, wall or doorway? Whether it's your long-awaited project or a quick repair, we handle every job with the same attention to detail.

Before and after 👇

Open plan living, with the TV room running straight into the rest of the house. The owners wanted it closed off to keep the noise down.

We built a new wall across the opening and hung a pair of doors, so the room can be shut off when it needs to be or opened right back up.

Whether it's your long-awaited project or a quick repair, we handle every job with the same attention to detail.

Deck beam replacement done and dusted ✅

The main support beam under this deck had taken on water damage over the years, and the original steel connector plates had rusted straight through at the joint — a hidden problem until you get up close. Left unchecked, that's a structural issue waiting to happen.

We propped up the deck, removed the damaged beam, installed a new one, and fitted new steel plates so it's built to last. Deck's back in action and good for years to come.

If your deck's older and you haven't had the structure checked, it's worth a look — the damage isn't always visible from the top.
