Lushscapes Garden Company had the privilege of putting this beautifully located tropical themed garden down the side of a clients holiday home in 1770.
Along with having a tropical vibe, Lushscapes Co also had to work on screening out the neighbours dinning room and bedrooms which looked straight into their lounge room and outdoor entertaining area.

The plants chosen for tall screening in a tight sheltered location were very large selectively-pruned Plumeria ( Frangipani ) bejeweled with bromeliads,orchids and tillandsias, large Bihai Heliconias, Pinanga Coronata palms, large Acalaphya shrubs, Flamethrower Palms and a mature-sized Jaboticaba ( Brazilian grape tree ) tree.

Already with 6 months of growth the neighbours have been lost in the ever growing foliage and both sides are enjoying the tropical screen that separates them

Look forward to seeing how the garden will look in another 6 months!! 🌴🌿🌺❤️

Newly completed tropical garden and Food Forest SeaSpray Avenue

Huge project LushScapes have completed on SeaSpray Avenue, Agnes Water!

A massive thank you to both Graham and Ann for their patience and for allowing my creativity to run wild haha

Started off with a old tired fruit orchard close to the house with a large sloped backyard with a couple mangoes and a macadamia tree scattered around the backyard.

Ann and Graham requested the fruit orchard to revamped and the backyard turned into a low maintenance tropical garden with 2 turfed areas to enjoy the spectacular view they have!

LushScapes Company planted out companion plants to complement and nourish the existing fruit tree orchard, then everything was irrigated, mulched and organically fertilised turning it into one large producing Food Forest.

For the tropical garden LushScapes brought in roughly 100tonnes of large beautiful granite rock to terrace the slopped block into 5 useable pads, with a walking path meandering around the first 2 large terraced pads, 110m3 of screened topsoil and 35m3 of mulch added to the array of different shade/feature trees before the lower plant story of colour and interest was added in. In total 60 different plant and tree species were used along with 35 different fruit and vegetable producing vines/plants!

Had an absolute blast designing and implementing this project for Ann and Graham!
