As September comes to a close and our team take their last steps for 🚶‍♀️September Steps 🚶 Matt reflects on his birthday month and the challenges that have faced him and many of us -

"September Steps this year has been a very different one personally.

Nothing has changed around the purpose of fundraising and awareness in our campaign but the way I’ve gone about it, changing.

With every step and KM completed I have been mindful of the heaviness some of my friends and family have been through this year. Some carrying serious challenges with their Mental Health and other illnesses.

The knowing and understanding of what every day brings for you has been a driving factor in my own recovery physically and mentally as well as pushing myself every day in September to go past 490kms .

From me to you, I wish for everyone to listen to yourselves as you are your best healer and teacher.
