🌱15m² Lawn Replacement | Curl Grub Infestation

This lawn had been struggling for some time, with our client initially believing the poor growth was due to low-quality soil.

After lifting the existing kikuyu, we discovered the real culprit — a significant curl grub infestation throughout the soil profile. 🐛

To give the new lawn the best possible start, we:
🔹 Removed the existing lawn and excavated approximately 100mm below the grass layer to remove the majority of the affected soil and infestation
🔹 Treated the entire area to target any remaining curl grubs
🔹 Imported 2 tonnes of Jeffries Special Soil, compacted and screeded to the required level
🔹 Added a further 3 tonnes of premium organic loam mix, again compacted and screeded to create the ideal growing base
🔹 Finished the transformation with Kings Pride Buffalo instant turf 🌿

A complete reset from the ground up, giving this lawn the soil structure, growing medium and fresh turf it needed to thrive.
