I just had to share this.
There was a time not long ago where we didn't use any trunking and I would trace every single wire just like this so I can appreciate the amount of time and effort it takes to do something like this.
Not to mention in a crammed location like a boat hull or behind a console 😳

Never get stranded by a flat starter battery again with the Orion XS!

Orion XS introduces starter battery emergency charging, available on all models (the 12/12-50A, the 12/12-70A, and the 1400) with just a firmware update (Orion XS firmware v1.15 & VictronConnect app firmware v6.43).

If the starter battery is too flat to crank the engine, the Orion XS can now charge it from the service battery. When the feature is activated, the charger temporarily reverses its charge direction for 15 minutes, then stops for a 5-minute settling period with the charger disabled. During the settling period, the engine can be cranked again, so you can get back underway.

Finally, these are now bi-directional ❤️
This means your caravan/motorhome will allow a charge to go forwards into the starter battery.

Firmware version 1.15 adds an emergency reverse charge function to the full Orion XS range: the 12/12-50A, the 12/12-70A, and the 1400. It requires VictronConnect app firmware v6.43, which was released yesterday.
