Tecon is pleased to announce significant changes to our leadership team. Ben Bloomfield, a valued member of Tecon for 10 years, has been promoted to Director. Ben's skills, experience, and leadership are invaluable assets. He has successfully managed the growth of our South Australian operations for the past five years. His hard work, dedication, and customer-focused approach to Building Surveying will continue to be a tremendous asset in his new role.

Additionally, Troy Olds will be stepping into the role of Managing Director. Troy has led Tecon for over 15 years and, along with Kirk and Ben, will continue to drive our growth as a leading building surveying firm across South Australia and the Northern Territory.

Our team of 20 professionals is ready to assist with any project, whether it’s a large commercial endeavour, a small extension, or consultancy work for our loyal local authorities or Federal Airports.

Message from Tecon Director Troy Olds

Today marks my final day as National President of Australian Institute of Building Surveyors (AIBS), after an incredible six years in this role. It has been an absolute privilege to lead an organisation that plays such a vital role in supporting building surveyors across Australia.
Over these years, the AIBS Board has overseen significant developments within our profession. Key achievements include the formal recognition of our Professional Standards Scheme, the accreditation of Building Surveyors in Victoria, and the stabilisation of indemnity insurance for our members. These milestones reflect the dedication and hard work of so many individuals across our Institute.
I want to extend my thanks to the AIBS members for trusting me to lead this outstanding organisation. My deepest gratitude goes to the AIBS staff, both past and present, for your unwavering commitment to our profession. To the Board, thank you for supporting the cultural changes we have made, particularly through the challenges of recent years.
A special thank you to the team at Tecon Australia for their continued support over the journey.
Most importantly, I must express my deepest appreciation to my family. Volunteering for a role of this nature would not have been possible without their encouragement and sacrifice.
AIBS is in excellent hands with our new National President, Wayne Liddy and I look forward to seeing the continued growth and success of our profession under his leadership.

Tecon Australia is delighted to announce changes to our senior management team. Having been a valued member of Tecon for close to 10 years, Kirk Pascoe been elevated to Director. Kirk’s skills, experience and leadership are an invaluable asset to our team. Kirk has been responsible for our Northern Territory operations for over 5 years and leads our airports contract as Airport Building Controller at both Darwin International and Alice Springs Airports. We are extremely fortunate to have someone who is dedicated and passionate about the business and we look forward to seeing where Tecon will go into the future.

In other exciting news, Benjamin Bloomfield has taken on an ownership role within Tecon. Ben has been with Tecon for close to 9 years and most recently has been responsible for the South Australian operations. Ben consistently demonstrates a practical approach to building surveying ensuring the best outcomes for our clients. His leadership and mentoring of staff continue to be invaluable for Tecon.

The team is now over 15 strong, supporting clients in South Australia, Northern Territory and Western Australia. Please take this opportunity to congratulate Kirk and Ben and we look forward to working with you all into the future.
