A home designed for the years ahead, with every detail considered around the people who will live there.

Our Somerton Park project is a beautiful example of how custom building can respond to different stages of life. Designed as a retirement retreat for our clients, the brief called for a home that would feel comfortable and welcoming day to day, while offering the flexibility to accommodate a growing extended family.

From the orientation of the home to the raked ceilings that welcome natural light and winter warmth, the design reflects a thoughtful approach to both everyday comfort and long-term liveability.

For Claridge, it's about understanding not just how our clients want to live now, but how their home can continue to support them for years to come.

There’s a brief stage in every build where the internal spaces have taken shape, but much of what sits behind the finished walls is still on show.

At our West Lakes project, insulation marks this point in the build. With the framework still visible, it’s also an opportunity to appreciate some of the architectural details within the home, from curved walls and arched openings to the breeze blocks incorporated at the front and rear.

Once the walls are lined, the interior changes considerably and these spaces begin to read very differently. It’s one of those milestones that signals a real shift in the build, as the focus continues to move from structure towards the finished home.

This Hamptons-inspired home was shaped around our clients from the outset, with their love of cooking and entertaining influencing everything from the considered kitchen and custom w**e storage to the alfresco and pool. Across both levels, the design makes the most of its lakefront position, with beautiful views forming an integral part of the home.

A long weekend feels like the perfect time to revisit our Port Willunga project, and a home that brings many of the things we love about a getaway into everyday life.

Set by the coast, this Hamptons-inspired home was designed around the way our clients wanted their family to live, with spaces to come together, entertain, work and unwind, all considered as part of a truly custom brief.

From its timeless coastal character to the thoughtful details throughout, it’s a home shaped around making the everyday feel that little bit more like a holiday.

And on a long weekend, we can’t think of many better places to be.

With the timber frame complete at Taperoo, the form of this impressive Esplanade home is now well and truly taking shape.

Its scale and proportions are becoming clear, and from its prominent position it’s already making quite an impression.

Of course, the location brings another perspective entirely. With sweeping ocean views from the site, the frame is beginning to show just how much the home will make of its incredible coastal setting.

A significant milestone for the build, and a credit to the team at Carpentry Co for the skill and workmanship that has gone into the frame.

A first look inside our recently completed West Lakes project.

Set right on the lake, this Hamptons-inspired home was designed to make the most of its incredible outlook while reflecting the way our clients love to live, cook and entertain.

That brief has shaped the home at every level, with details tailored specifically to our clients including a feature skylight in the ensuite, custom joinery tucked beneath the staircase and a uniquely positioned wet bar upstairs. The consideration continues outdoors, with the pool and entertaining spaces creating a natural extension of the home against its waterfront setting.

This is just a glimpse for now. We’re looking forward to sharing a closer look at the craftsmanship, details and considered design behind this very special Claridge home.

Our Dulwich project began with the transformation of a former commercial building into two individually designed residences. For Residence 1, the brief led to a New York-inspired home that embraces the character of the original structure while creating something distinctly personal for our clients.

Exposed brickwork, soaring windows and lofty proportions retain an industrial influence, balanced by refined finishes, custom detailing and generous spaces designed for both everyday living and entertaining.

For the Claridge team, this project was an opportunity to work with the qualities of an existing building rather than erase them, carefully adapting the structure around the way our clients wanted to live.

A truly individual home and a great example of what can be achieved when custom building starts with the client rather than a catalogue of pre-designed plans.

Rendering is well underway at our Fulham project, with the upper level now complete and work continuing across the lower level.

The last time we shared this home, the frame was taking shape. Now, with the build moving through its next stages, the exterior is beginning to give a much stronger sense of the finished home.

This is a particularly rewarding point in the build, as the focus shifts from structure to finish, and months of work begin to show in a very different way. It’s a significant visual shift on site, and an exciting indication of just how far this project home has come.
