Eastern Building Group

Eastern Building Group 25+ years building a legacy in South Australia. Value, detail & design driven. Custom Homes | Developments | Architecture | Interior Design

We have been consistently flourishing for 25+ years. We’re the classic combination of honest, quality work, value for money and the best advertising of all…word of mouth. We don’t have salespeople and display homes. We invest in sourcing (and keeping) the best suppliers and subcontractors Adelaide has to offer. All of our partners are professionals that work the same way we do, and share the same

qualities and values when it comes to the building process – all with the same goal in mind... bringing your build to life!

SNEAK PEEK | CUSTOM HOME COMPLETION

From the moment you arrive, the warm timber front door, crisp white exterior and bold dark cladding create a striking first impression.

Step a little closer and you start to notice the details: the sheltered entry, the soft landscaping, the large upstairs windows, and glimpses of statement lighting inside.

This home has been designed to feel modern, welcoming and full of personality, with every detail working together to create a space that feels just as good as it looks.

We can’t wait to show you more of this custom Oakden home soon.

Project Skye I is officially underway.

When our clients first came to us with a steep inclining block on unknown depth of bluestone rock, they weren’t sure their dream home could become a reality.

But, where others may have seen complexity, we saw opportunity.

From the moment they shared their vision with us, we knew this was a challenge we could solve - and exactly the kind of project EBG is built for.

Stay tuned as this stunning custom home takes shape.

A moment to pause and appreciate the people behind the process.

A huge thank you to Lee, Natascia, Bojan & their team for their effort in putting on this year’s Beaumont Tiles X Eastern Building Group courtesy lunch — right here in our carpark, under the sun, with a spread that did not disappoint.

A gesture that speaks to a relationship built over decades, not just projects. We're already counting down to the next one 🙌🏽

A partnership built over 20+ years 🤝

Beaumont Tiles recently hosted their second annual courtesy lunch for the Eastern Building Group team – a simple but meaningful gesture that reflects a longstanding working relationship grounded in collaboration and consistency.

Both teams take a considered approach to every project, with a strong focus on the client experience from selection through to completion. Backed by an extensive range of quality tiles across multiple price points, it’s a partnership that continues to support tailored, design-led outcomes across every build.

It’s been a big few weeks here at EBG in the lead-up to the Easter long weekend...

A few key highlights ✨:

1 & 2. Paradise Project handed over - ready for the owners to enjoy poolside living in the sunshine over the break.
3. Our supervisor Daniel bringing his edgy Oakden home to completion.
4. Strong progress at our 6-dwelling Ovingham development - wall and roof framing complete, with brickwork and Hebel installation now underway.
5. Final details at Fitzroy - wall brackets installed in the stair void, ready for custom wrought iron handrailing.

A solid close to a big start to the year. Wishing everyone a safe & happy Easter!

Project Update: Stone install at Paradise II.

Featuring benchtops from Stone Ambassador Australia and Cosentino, this stage starts to bring real depth and definition into the home - a 4-bedroom layout with retreat and open-plan living, now taking its final form.

With less than a week to completion, this project marks an impressive 6-month turnaround since commencing in September last year. A huge credit to our supervisor Mat, whose strategic coordination of trades has had everything moving like clockwork.

We’re incredibly fortunate to work exclusively with a dedicated network of specialised trades across every stage of the build, ensuring not just quality, but consistency and efficiency.

Final reveal coming soon…

Diving into the deeper end of the EBG palette at Rostrevor III…

Many of our clients naturally gravitate towards white and warm joinery tones. But, every now and then, we get the opportunity to deliver something a little moodier. It’s a palette we’re just as passionate about and highly experienced in delivering. There’s something inherently timeless and sleek about a dark joinery finish paired with a grey-toned stone benchtop.

We make it refined, architectural and quietly bold.

When we or our clients need a man-made stone, we turn to Zenith Surfaces by Stone Ambassador Australia.

A vitrified stone that, compared to other non-silica surfaces such as porcelain, offers superior durability and stain resistance, making it ideal for high-use joinery and architectural applications.

Featured here in our studio: Calcutta Signature from the Zenith Surfaces range - a beautiful soft white surface with delicate grey veining that closely mimics the character of premium Italian marble.

A timeless marble-inspired surface that sits comfortably across both classic and contemporary interiors.

Venetian plaster is officially back.

Made from natural pigments, this finish is built to last for life. Its versatility bridges the gap between classic elegance and contemporary style, making it easy to see why venetian is in such high-demand right now.

While the finish has made a major resurgence in popularity in 2025/26, it’s been part of our builds for over a decade, and we continue to choose Protex Plastering for their exceptional quality and professionalism.

Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at the boys creating one of many feature walls on an EBG project, beautifully captured by Free Range Design.
