Heading into the long weekend? Read this before you hit the road! 🚗💨
Long weekends mean extra traffic, tight schedules, and busy highways. Whether you’re heading out of town or just driving locally, getting there safely is the only plan that matters.

Here are 4 quick reminders from our crew on the road:

🚦 Respect Roadwork Limits — Lower posted speeds in traffic zones stay in place even when crews aren't actively on site. They're designed to keep road surfaces safe for everyone.

☕ Rest Before You’re Rested Out — Fatigue creeps up fast. Schedule a 15-minute stop every 2 hours to stretch, grab a coffee, and reset your focus.

🚚 Give Heavy Vehicles & TMAs Space — Large vehicles and attenuators need extra stopping distance. Avoid pulling in tight in front of them or tailgating in merging lanes.

⏳ Patience > Speeding — Arriving 5 minutes later is always better than not arriving at all.

MEN’S STAGE 3 – NAIRNE 🚴‍♂️💨 DONE & DUSTED!

How good is it seeing a brand new stage added to the Santos Tour Down Under calendar… and right here in Nairne! 🙌

There’s something special about fresh roads, new setups and a town buzzing with excitement — locals out early, fences lined with spectators, team cars rolling in, and that unreal Adelaide Hills backdrop turning it on with perfect weather. You honestly couldn’t ask for a better day.

Stage 3 delivered big time.
Tight streets, plenty of infrastructure, moving parts everywhere… exactly the kind of challenge we love.

The Fast Lane Traffic crew were up before the sun, cones down, signs up, barriers set and radios crackling — making sure riders, officials, convoy and the community stayed safe from first roll out to the final sweep.

Professional. Calm. Dialled in.
Just how we like it. 💪

Massive credit to the legends on the ground who absolutely smashed it (as always), and a big thanks to Mount Barker District Council, event organisers and all stakeholders for the continued collaboration to help bring world-class cycling to our backyard.

🚴‍♂️ MEN’S TDU STAGE 2 – ADELAIDE HILLS DONE & DUSTED ✅

What a cracking day in the beautiful Adelaide Hills to kick off Stage 2 of the Santos Tour Down Under! ☀️

Tight roads, punchy climbs, heaps of infrastructure squeezed into small country towns… definitely a challenging stage for everyone involved — riders, crews and traffic legends alike.

The locals absolutely got around it too.
Decorated streets, crowds lining the fences, scarecrows out cheering… you’ve gotta love country SA during TDU week ❤️

Behind the scenes, the Fast Lane Traffic team banded together and delivered another safe, smooth and professional setup from start to finish.
Early starts, plenty of cones, radios buzzing, and lots of teamwork — but the crew smashed it as always 💪

Nothing better than seeing:
👉 world-class cycling flying past
👉 our utes and boards set up sharp
👉 and the team working like a well-oiled machine

Proud moment for us being part of such an iconic South Aussie event.

WOMEN’S STAGE 2 – PARACOMBE ✅ ALL DONE & DUSTED!

What an absolute cracker of a day in the Adelaide Hills! ☀️
Women’s Stage 2 of the Santos Tour Down Under in Paracombe is officially complete and safely executed, and honestly… you couldn’t have ordered better weather if you tried.

Rolling hills, stunning views, blue skies and world-class cycling flying past – with a whole lot of cones, signs and high-vis legends keeping it all running smoothly behind the scenes.

The Fast Lane Traffic crew took on the traffic management for the day and absolutely smashed it 💪
From early starts to final pack through, the team delivered a safe, professional setup that kept riders, officials, spectators and locals moving where they needed to be (and stopping when they definitely shouldn’t 😉).

A huge thank you to Adelaide Hills Council for their continued support and great collaboration – always a pleasure working together to help deliver events like this in our backyard.

Massive shout-out to our crew on the ground:

• Big smiles
• Zero dramas (the best kind of drama 😎)

🚴‍♀️💚 THE TOUR DOWN UNDER HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN! 💚🚴‍♀️

Stage 1 of the Women’s Tour Down Under rolled through Willunga, and the Fast Lane Traffic team were proudly on the ground helping kick off another massive TDU.

From early starts to race-ready roads, our crew were there ensuring the event launched safe, smooth and seamless – supporting riders, officials, spectators and the local community as the world’s eyes turn to South Australia.

A huge thank you to the City of Onkaparinga for hosting an incredible opening stage and for allowing Fast Lane Traffic to be a key part of delivering this iconic event. It’s always special being involved in something that showcases our region on a global stage.

And this is only the beginning…
🚧🚴‍♂️ Over the next 9 days, our team will be out and about across the entire Tour Down Under route, backing in both the Women’s and Men’s races and doing what we do best – keeping everyone safe while the action unfolds.
