Jaytex Construction has received a High Commendation at the 2026 SA/NT Professional Excellence Awards for the Nuriootpa Traders Logistics Hub.

The $76 million design and construct project delivered a significant 133,000sqm warehousing and trucking complex to support the growing Barossa w**e industry.

Delivered across two stages, the project allowed Nuriootpa Traders to commence operations while the remaining facility was under construction.

The project also saw more than $10 million directed into the local economy through the engagement of regional suppliers and contractors.

Jaytex Construction has received a High Commendation at the 2026 Australian Institute of Building SA/NT Professional Excellence Awards for the Berrimah Farm Science Services Building in Darwin.

The $17.2 million project involved the delivery of a highly technical research facility, including 39 individual laboratory rooms and laboratories certified to meet Federal Government Biosecurity Protection and Physical Containment standards.

Delivered within the operational Berrimah Farm Science Precinct, the facility supports advanced research across entomology, plant pathology, virology, water microbiology and environmental DNA.

This marks Jaytex’s third project at Berrimah Farm, reflecting an ongoing relationship with the NT Government and our growing capability in the delivery of specialised laboratory environments.

Department of Logistics and Infrastructure have selected Jaytex Construction to deliver a $5.8 million electrical infrastructure upgrade at the Alice Springs Correctional Centre.

Works have commenced onsite, driven by Project Manager Matt Henderson who has over 16 years experience delivering projects in Alice Springs, including previous works at ASCC.

We look forward to delivering another essential Territory project for DLI.

Award-winning delivery in Darwin

We’re proud to see Parap Preschool recognised as the Education Facility winner at the 2026 Master Builders NT Excellence in Building & Construction Awards.

Delivered by Jaytex for the NT Department of Logistics and Infrastructure, the $7.5M aeroplane inspired early learning centre was designed to create an engaging environment for up to 66 young learners, complete with an incredible outdoor play area.

Despite the challenges presented by Cyclone Fina, the project was delivered in time for the beginning of Term 1. A reflection of the planning, collaboration and commitment of the entire project team.
