Meet Tyler, our newest full timer coming to your property soon. Since joining Tyler has been great at picking up new skills, getting across our portfolio of properties and learning the tricks of the trade. Please join me in welcoming Tyler!

What is the best aspect of working for HM Garden Maintenance?

My favourite part about work is the awesome team I get to work with day in day out. Everyone is passionate about making gardens and outdoor spaces look their best, while also having fun and making the most out of our days. I also love seeing a freshly mowed lawn and being able to enjoy the sunshine everyday.

Hobbies outside of work?

Outside of work i enjoying spending my time playing Club volleyball for Austral Phoenix, having a sport to constantly try and improve and push further in is a great outlet, as well as competing with great people. I Also enjoy scrolling facebook marketplace for fun.

What is your favourite place in the world to visit?

As I’m not a big traveller I’m yet to discover a favourite place, but I would love to road trip through the Mid-North West of the USA.

Proudest Achievement outside of work?

My proudest achievement outside of work is creating a life that I’m proud of and having the best people around me. My family, friends and my partner are the best people and support systems and I would never change that.

IN ACTION SERIES // STAFF INTRODUCTION

Reuben Brookes has joined us full time in the last few months and has proven to be a reliable, efficient and skilled worker. Fitting seamlessly in with the rest of the team and servicing your property soon, please welcome Reuben to team HMGM!

As with all our staff introductions, we ask a few questions and these were Reuben’s answers:

What is the best aspect of working for HM garden maintenance?

Whats not to love about working for such a great company, it’s all great. Working outside with such an amazing group of people that all have the same passion for the work that we do, and being able to bring a smile to any clients face and please them with our work.

Hobbies outside of work?

Footy is my main hobby outside of work, it’s my break from all the other stuff going on around. I also enjoy going camping in my 4wd with friends and family.

What is your favourite place in the world to visit?

I have been fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to travel to many different places around the world, but the number one I’ve been too would have to be across the ditch to New Zealand. I have aspirations to visit many more counties such as Japan and Switzerland on the top of the list.

Proudest achievement outside of work?

The biggest achievement of mine would be getting selected as the Volleyball program captain at Brighton Secondary School and representing the school on many different occasions both at South Australian schools cup and the Australian Volleyball schools cup. I was also awarded with the school sportsperson of the year in my last year at school in 2025. I have been grateful to have many achievements to choose from but they would be my most important.
