🏑 Project Complete – Port Adelaide Hockey Club Sports Lighting Upgrade 💡
BCE & CJ Electrical is proud to have recently completed another high-quality sports lighting project at Port Adelaide Hockey Club for the City of Port Adelaide Enfield Council.
This project included:
⚡ New 200A meter board upgrade with a new sports lighting distribution boards
⚡ Reconnection of the existing electrical infrastructure
⚡ New underground electrical infrastructure, directional drilled around the perimeter of the playing field to minimise disruption
⚡ Disconnection, removal of old sports lighting infrastructure
⚡ Installation of new 27-metre light towers with squat footings
⚡ Installation of 28 Philips Optivision LED sports lighting fittings, delivering 500 lux for competition hockey
⚡ Dynalite DALI lighting control system for flexible and efficient operation
A fantastic project delivered safely, on schedule, and with minimal disruption, ensuring there was no impact to the club's operations or playing schedule.

A-Class Electrician – Project Lighting & Government Maintenance
BCE & CJ Electrical | Casual Contract | $55- $60 /hr – With allowances
BCE & CJ Electrical are seeking an experienced A-Class Electrician to join our team.
We specialise in large-scale project lighting, government service, and maintenance contracts across South Australia. This role offers long-term security in a friendly, flexible working environment with opportunities to work on high-profile projects.
About the Role
1. Casual Contract
2. Opportunity to go Full Time, with Van and Phone
3. $55-$60 per hour (depending on experience & knowledge)
4. Opportunity to become a long term employee and grow into a management role
5. Variety of work across project lighting, government maintenance, and electrical infrastructure projects
What We’re Looking For
1. Licensed A-Class Electrician (essential)
2. Proven experience in project lighting installations and government service/maintenance contracts
3. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, fault finding & repairs
4. Experience with the Simpro job management system (preferred but not essential)
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. High attention to safety, quality, and client service
