Congratulations to Aldebaran Contracting on winning the CCF National, Earth Awards Project Value $5 Million to $10 Million category at the Awards finals in Canberra on Friday night.
The awards recognise excellence in civil construction. Aldebaran Contracting qualified for the National finals, by winning the $5M to $10M category at our Territory awards back in June for their T 22-1838 Santa Teresa Road – Alice Springs Project.
Tom Harris (CCF NT CEO) accepted the award on behalf of Aldebaran Contracting at the National Earth Awards Final in Canberra. Tom has been the CEO of CCF NT for 7 years now and this is the first Northern Territory winner at the National event in his time in the role. This is a fantastic achievement for Aldebaran Contracting and their client the Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics (now NT Logistics and Infrastructure).

It's official, Aldebaran Contracting have been named one of the "best of the best" in Civil Construction, we have been awarded the Civil Contractors Federation National Earth Award for the $5 to $10mil category.

Our team are dedicated to safety and unfortunately this year, could not attend the National Awards due to prioritising our OFSC audit this week.

Thanks to CCF NT's president, Tom Harris for stepping in and accepting the award on our behalf.

A massive thanks to our amazing crew, and contractors for getting us here. We are so proud of where the company is today, and we couldn't have done it without you all.

Couldn't ask for a better way to be ending 2024 👏🍾

Not only is our main man Kenneth the CEO of Aldebaran, in his limited spare time, he manages to fit in being the President of our local Humpty Doo Golf Club. Below is some of the awesome work Kenneth and local business owner Weirys Diesel and Mechanical Services have been doing for the members of the Humpty Doo Golf Club.

Big cheques and big talk from Mathew Weir of Weirys Diesel & Mechanical Services! The fastest mechanic in Darwin seems to be a budding content creator as well.

Over the weekend at the Humpty Doo Golf Course, local member Dan Short managed to land a hole-in-one on the second hole. A remarkable achievement on its own (I’ve never got one myself—usually finding myself in the trees, long grass, or the pond), but this time it came with an additional benefit to straight bragging rights! As it was the Monthly Medal sponsored by Weirys, there was a $2,000 cash prize up for grabs for anyone landing a hole-in-one.

If winning $2,000 and snapping a photo with Weiry, myself, and a big cheque sounds like fun, consider becoming a member! Or if you are a business and interested in supporting the club like Weiry we are happy to have you involved.

Have you heard the news? 🤔🗞

Aldebaran Contracting has been awarded our biggest project to date!! 🥳 A massive 27kms of red dirt upgraded to bitumen on the Plenty Highway.

We love working in the red centre and can not wait to commence works on this project and continue providing safer roads in the Northern Territory 🙌

Aldebaran's team scrubbed off the red dirt and dolled up to enjoy a night together at the 2024 CCF Earth Awards, and scrubbed up alright we did 😍

Not only did we get to enjoy an great night together, Aldebaran was awarded the CCF Earth Award in the $5m - $10m category for our work on the Santa Teresa Road project in Alice Springs.

We would like to thank our team, and our subcontractors, each and every one of you that was involved in this project, it couldn't have been completed without you. This achievement is another testimony to our hard work and dedication to the delivery of our projects.

Here's to many more successful projects together 🌟👏
