A reward for bold innovators 📢 💡

F4E has launched the 2026 Fusion Technology Transfer Award: 10,000 EUR for projects that take solutions from fusion to the market.

Plenty of technologies and know-how developed around projects like can find applications far beyond their original scope.

The award, organised in collaboration with EUROfusion, aims to recognise innovation across Europe’s fusion supply chain and supports its business potential.

Am 02. Oktober 2026 findet der diesjährige von FuseNet Association organisierte European Fusion Teacher Day statt. Der Teacher Day setzt sich aus einem deutsch- und einem englischsprachigen Teil zusammen. Im ersten Teil wird es zuerst einen Vortrag zum Thema Fusionsforschung an Wendelstein 7-X und Divertoroptimierung geben sowie eine Präsentation des Start-Ups SAXFUSION. Im zweiten Teil folgt u.a. die Präsentation von Unterrichtsmaterialien sowie Führungen durch ITER und DIFFER.

The European Teacher Day will take place in 3 weeks on 2 October 2026!

The goal of the European Fusion Teacher Day is to introduce nuclear fusion to secondary school teachers throughout Europe, to discuss teaching nuclear fusion to secondary school students and to create enthusiasm for the field of fusion at the secondary education level. This event will be fully online.

The event will feature Domestic Sessions with lectures by local fusion experts on current fusion research in your area. Additionally, there will be a European Session in which new (free) educational materials will be presented, and keynote speakers will give an inside look into selected fusion facilities engaged in the international effort towards the achievement of fusion power. The whole event will be remote.
