less walls for a happy place.
this is our design for the salzburg-taxham social education center, which recieved an honorable mention at the design competition. we envisioned a place for development and connection designed as one flowing, interconnected whole. a clear central entrance leads into an open atrium that links all levels visually and spatially. daylight, openness and short paths create easy orientation and a calm, welcoming atmosphere. building on what’s there, we preserve and upgrade existing structures while adding a new volume that ties everything together. timber construction and prefabrication ensure efficiency, flexibility and long-term usability. beyond the walls, the landscape continues the concept: spaces for movement, greenery and quiet retreat interweave to support both activity and relaxation. a balanced environment where function meets experience.
