Thomas Feichtner Design × PRÖDL
Agip Chair by Thomas Feichtner Design, crafted by PRÖDL, will be presented at Design Palazzo Austria as part of milan.design.week and Fuorisalone Milano 2026.
The concept is simple: the profile of a chair is cut from solid wood and arranged in a radial formation. A two-dimensional drawing is transformed into a three-dimensional seating object — precise in construction and surprisingly comfortable.
Crafted by Tischlerei Prödl, the piece combines experimental design with high-quality workmanship. An additional feature: the chair can also function as a small coat rack, for example in a bedroom.
The chair was developed as part of the Design Battle 2025, a format by Creative Industries Styria, where designers and carpenters collaborate intensively within a single day. The Agip Chair was selected by the jury as the winning project.
