Bezhe Design Studio Bezhë understands architecture and design as a backdrop for a playful life, rather than objects to be glorified in their own right.

Founded in 2023 in the rapidly changing cityscape of Tirana, Albania, our studio is a direct response to our environment.

Before replacing, comes reimagining.

This proposal transforms an industrial structure into a place where production, culture, and community coexist. By preserving its identity, embracing its spatial qualities, and introducing new public spaces, the project gives the existing architecture a second life—creating room for work, exhibitions, events, and gathering.

At BEZHE, we see adaptive reuse as an opportunity to shape the future through what already exists. Every existing building holds untapped potential; our role is to reveal it through thoughtful, playful design.

Letër is our new lighting collection created in collaboration with Zeja. Designed by Bezhë, each lamp begins with recycled paper produced in Zeja’s atelier in Albania. The process continues at Bezhë, where the paper is hand-stitched and assembled onto a wooden structure crafted with local artisans.

The lamps feature cubic forms that can be combined in pairs or trios to create different heights. A delicate yet resilient piece, thoughtfully made from start to finish.

An evening where lighting, design, and literature come together.

On May 28, BEZHË will present a selection of lighting pieces at Babel Library, within the inspiring atmosphere of Piramida Tirana.

Join us for the opening event and a conversation around light, how it shapes spaces, emotions, and the way we experience architecture and everyday life.

The lighting pieces presented during the event will also remain available for purchase at the library afterwards.

A space shaped by intention, not excess.

For this yoga and holistic studio, our approach was to do less but do it with clarity. Soft curtains to define without dividing. A generous communal table to gather around. Low, quiet furniture in natural MDF that lets the body and mind settle.

And light, our BEZHË lamps present, exposed, and available to take home, extending the atmosphere beyond the space.

Minimal interventions, maximum presence.
