๐Ÿ‘‰ From 4 September to 5 October, individuals from across the Western Balkans can apply for a grant of up to โ‚ฌ3,000 to undertake a mobility activity elsewhere in the region.

Whether you want to advance your research, education, creativity or professional development, build new connections or collaborate with regional peers, WBF Move can help take your idea across borders.

So far, 173 individuals have benefited from previous WBF Move Calls.

๐ŸŸข The Astronomy Club of Kosovo, in partnership with astronomy clubs from all six WBF Contracting Parties, has launched a Call for Participants for its newest regional activity.

The fully funded camp, taking place from 18-20 September, will provide:

๐Ÿ‘‰ Evenings under the stars
๐Ÿ‘‰Team-building and intercultural exchange

๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต Today, we welcomed a high-level Japanese delegation to the Western Balkans Fund Secretariat.

๐Ÿ‘‰ The delegation was headed by Mr Yuki Sugiyama, Deputy Director at the European Affairs Bureau of Japanโ€™s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

๐Ÿค Our discussions focused on the strong partnership between Japan and the Western Balkans Fund, which has developed steadily over the past eight years.

We also explored new opportunities to deepen our cooperation, broaden its scope and generate an even greater impact in the Western Balkans.

๐Ÿ‘‰ The WBF Matching Grants Summer Call is officially closed!

๐Ÿซต We were pleased to receive 19 applications from successful local initiatives seeking WBF support to expand their impact across the Western Balkans.

The evaluation process is now underway and all applicants will receive the results within the next 10 days. Thank you to everyone who applied!

But our opportunities do not end here.

๐Ÿค Yesterday in Brussels, the Executive Director of the Western Balkans Fund, Dr Murra, met with Ms Kastrati, Director of CEFTA, and her team.

๐ŸŸข The discussions focused on coordinating activities, strengthening institutional cooperation and creating greater synergies by building on the distinct expertise and strengths of both organisations.

๐Ÿ‘‰ We expressed our belief that by working more closely together, WBF and CEFTA can contribute to a more connected and cooperative Western Balkans.

"The Western Balkans Fund (WBF) is inviting bidders to submit their offers for the procurement "Creation of a Brand Identity Package for the Western Balkans Fund"

WBF is seeking a qualified design company, agency or studio (hereinafter referred to as the "Service Provider") to develop a coherent, accessible, practical and scalable brand identity package, including a core visual identity system, brandbook, institutional and digital templates, and a programme branding system, building upon WBF's existing logo and institutional identity.
