Engineering Contracting Compnay (ECC Contracting) is proud to receive a Certificate of Appreciation from Dubai Municipality for the successful completion of Nad Al Shiba School Phase 2 in Nad Al Shiba Fourth, Dubai.

Delivered under a Design & Build contract, the 35,681 m² educational campus was completed within 12 months and handed over four days ahead of the contractual completion date.

The development comprises three connected buildings designed to accommodate approximately 2,500 students and 400 staff. The facilities include 78 classrooms, 26 learning rooms, sports halls, swimming pools, a football pitch, science and technology laboratories, knowledge hubs, and dedicated children’s play areas.

The project was delivered alongside a fully operational neighbouring school and within restricted working hours. Key milestones, including the completion of excavation and foundations within one month and structural works and elevation cladding within five months, helped maintain progress throughout the demanding construction programme.

The Certificate of Appreciation recognises the successful delivery of this educational facility and reflects ECC Contracting’s commitment to disciplined planning, close coordination, and timely ex*****on on complex projects.

Engineering Contracting Company (ECC Contracting) is proud to announce that Creek Beach Phases 4 and 5, a mid-rise residential development at Dubai Creek Harbour delivered by ECC Contracting, has been honored as the MEED 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫 2026 in the “𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫” category.

Located in Al Kheeran First, Dubai Creek Harbour is a premier waterfront development by Emaar, bringing together multiple residential clusters within one of Dubai’s prominent master developments. ECC Contracting delivered Phases 4 and 5 in April 2026 under a Design & Build contract—comprising Savanna, Cedar, Mangrove, Canopy, and Moor—and spanning a total built-up area of 205,300 m².

Building on ECC Contracting’s successful track record at Dubai Creek Harbour, the company previously delivered Clusters 1A, 2A, 2B, 1B4-5, and 1D, comprising Breeze, Sunset, Bayshore, Surf, and Summer, in April 2022, with a combined built-up area of 212,908 m². ECC Contracting subsequently delivered Dubai Creek Harbour Phase 3 in January 2025, a mid-rise residential development spanning 182,700 m² of built-up area, under a Build-Only contract in consultation with SSH International.

The successful completion of these major phases reflects ECC Contracting’s experience in executing large-scale residential developments, managing complex project requirements, and delivering high-quality construction for leading developers.

ECC Lean Practitioner Academy Cohort 3 (2026-2027)

Engineering Contracting Company (ECC Contracting) proudly launched the kick-off meeting for the third cohort of its Lean Practitioner Programme — a continued investment in building capable leaders who deliver certainty and value to every client, on every project.

Over the past two years, ECC Contracting has successfully completed two cohorts, training 72 candidates in Lean principles and practice. Building on that momentum, Cohort 3 welcomes 76 candidates — our largest cohort yet — continuing our commitment to developing leaders who turn Lean thinking into real, measurable impact.

What does it take to lead a project from foundation to final handover?

Since joining Engineering Contracting Company (ECC) in 2016, Mohammad Hamze has built his career around managing complex construction activities, coordinating project teams, and turning plans into completed structures.

As a Construction Manager, Hamze oversees projects from the initial planning stages through to final handover. From reviewing progress and conducting site inspections to coordinating with engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors, his role is central to keeping projects moving safely, efficiently, and to the required standards.

Every project brings its own challenges, requiring adaptability, collaboration, and practical problem-solving to keep delivery on track. As ECC Contracting continues its 50-year journey of shaping the UAE’s landscape, Hamze reflects on what it means to be part of a team delivering some of the region’s most significant projects.

A new milestone for the ECC Group Graduate Pathways Program as we celebrate the graduation of our second cohort of graduate engineers, a program designed to nurture emerging talent, and prepare the next generation of leaders to shape the future of construction in the UAE.

Over 16 weeks, the graduates gained hands-on experience across different departments, learned from experienced colleagues and developed a broader understanding of our business. Their journey was supported by more than 100 colleagues who contributed as mentors, supervisors, builders and technical specialists.

We are proud to see our graduates now begin their permanent roles across ECC Group—four Civil Engineering graduates joining ECC Contracting at Dubai Creek Harbour projects, while an Industrial Engineer joins DesertBoard to contribute to innovation, digital technologies and AI.

Engineering Contracting Company (ECC Contracting) has been featured in Construction Business News Middle East’s Power Hour 100 – Contractors, highlighting ECC Contracting’s continued growth, project delivery capabilities and focus on technology-led, sustainable construction.

In the feature, ECC Contracting Director Kareem Farah shares insights into the company’s AED 10.3 billion cumulative project portfolio under construction from 2025 to July 2026, including AED 2.8 billion worth of projects completed and scheduled for completion during 2025–2026. He also discusses ECC Contracting’s transition from technology consumer to technology producer, and its expanding use of automation, AI, prefabrication and lower-carbon materials.
