Even a slight rise in ground potential across multi-device facilities can lead to equipment malfunctions and measurement errors. The main cause? Resistance between the metal chassis (reference potential) and the grounding wire.

When large equipment draws heavy current, uneven resistance can lead to potential differences, affecting system reliability.
