🛡️ Safety First: Emergency Eye Wash & Safety Shower Protocols

At Safety Electrical Group (SEG), protecting our team on the ground is always our top priority.

Industrial operations like powder coating, grinding, cutting, and welding expose workers to dust, sparks, metal particles, and chemicals daily. Being prepared for workplace incidents isn't just a guideline—it’s essential.

Here are the key protocols our team covered in today's emergency response training:
👁️ Eye Wash Station Protocol
Act Immediately - If hazardous material enters your eyes, head straight to the nearest eye wash station.
Rinse Thoroughly - Hold eyelids open and rinse continuously with clean water for at least Fifteen (15) Minutes.
🚿 Emergency Safety Shower Protocol
Immediate Response - If chemicals or hot materials splash onto your body or clothing, use the safety shower immediately.
Remove Contamination - Remove affected clothing while rinsing for at least Fifteen (15) Minutes.

📋 Post-Incident Checklist
1) Report - Immediately inform your team supervisor and HSE officer.
2) Seek Care - Obtain prompt medical attention.
3) Be Prepared - Know the location of your nearest emergency station before an accident happens.
4) Gear Up - Always wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
