RESONANCE served as a profound convergence of contemporary design. The evening explored a design language shaped by cultural immersion between Dubai & Vietnam, featuring a multi-disciplinary showcase of artistry and the debut of CI MÊ, our culinary expression of the resonance between our two regions.

Ghutra Waving

At the heart of Dubai’s vibrant metropolis, our ALBAL Design Studio headquarters stands as a testament to contemporary design. To soften its bold, masculine lines, we engaged in a creative dialogue with .weavingspaces to drape the building in a symbol of heritage and protection.

Inspired by the Ghutra, the traditional Arab headdress, this installation serves as a functional and symbolic skin. Just as the Ghutra shields from the desert sun and sand while representing dignity and pride, our facade protects and defines our creative home.

Beyond aesthetics, this "woven" layer is a calculated environmental response, regulating garden light and diffusing wind through its breathable texture. The resulting interplay of light and shadow mimics desert dunes, grounding our workspace in the region’s deep cultural resonance.

Crowned 2025 Hotel of the Year, Capella Taipei () represents a masterful evolution of André Fu’s ‘Modern Mansion’ concept.

Designed by Mori Building Group, the architecture functions as an urban sanctuary, filtering Taipei’s energy into a ritualistic sequence of contemplative calm.

Inside, André Fu () elevates material storytelling to a fine art. The journey begins at the Rotunda - a sculptural spiral of 800 hardwood blocks, and flows into the Plume Lounge, where Elsa Rameau’s custom murals set the stage for daily tea rituals. In the private quarters, a tactile layering of De Gournay silk and silver gilt creates a living frame for views of Taipei 101.

شاركونا مع 'عالبال' جولةً في أحد أبرز المقاهي المعمارية بمدينة هو تشي منه، حيث تندمج الأصالة الثقافية بالإبداع المعماري في فلسفة المصممين الفيتناميين.

مقهى Nha Ba في قلب هو شي منه ليس مجرد مقهى، بل تجربة معمارية مستوحاة من الكهوف الطبيعية وتصميمه مستلهم من كهوف خليج هالونغ باي. تحرّر المعماري من الخطوط المستقيمة ورسم المنحنيات بحرية كما في جدران الكهف الطبيعي.
يغطي المكان لون طيني دافئ مستوحى من البازلت الأحمر، يعكس البساطة، القرب، وذكريات العمارة الطينية التقليدية لأقليات جنوب فيتنام.
النوافذ المقوسة المفتوحة والمسافات الواسعة بين الطوابق تسمح بدخول الهواء الطبيعي، بينما يتسلل ضوء الشمس في كل ساعة ليخلق خطوط ضوئية متغيرة تجعل المكان يتنفس مع الزمن.
