A summer of sport is officially underway!

Dubai Sports World has returned to Dubai World Trade Centre for its 16th edition, bringing together sport, fitness and community under one roof for yet another action-packed season.

The opening was attended by Mahir Abdulkarim Julfar, Executive Vice President of Dubai World Trade Centre, Essa Sharif, Director of Sports Events at Dubai Sports Council, and representatives from Dubai Police, including Major Abdullah Ahmed Al Ammari, Captain Ali Hassan Al Rahma, First Lieutenant Juma Salim Al Maqbal, and Fatima Ahmed Buhajir, Chairman of the Positive Spirit Council.

Joining them as Guest of Honour was Maryam Al Farsi, the first Emirati female sprinter to compete at the Olympic Games.

With more than 40 courts and pitches, a brand-new indoor running track, family activities and fitness experiences, Dubai Sports World continues to provide a space where people of all ages and abilities can stay active throughout the summer.
