𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬! We’re back from a summer break and October for Dubai residents means…… 𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐈𝐒 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐆!!!! And that means the time to grow amazing fruits and vegetables and ofcourse beautify the wonderful landscape we all inhabit with florals and decoratives. 𝙅𝙖𝙨𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙖 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙬 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝙖𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧. 𝘿𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙫𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙙𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙨𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙪𝙣𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙𝙨 𝙙𝙚𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙣 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙝 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙬 𝙞𝙣. • 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐣𝐚𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞– Plant jasmine bushes any time however based on the health of the pant they start to flower towards the end of winter and around the fall time
• 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐣𝐚𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞– Jasmine will grow well in full sun to partial shaded areas. A trellis or fence will surely ensure added support and healthy growth
• 𝐒𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐣𝐚𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧– Jasmine needs well-drained but moist, moderately fertile sandy soil.
• 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐣𝐚𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞– Jasmine should be planted at least 6 feet apart, sometimes to accommodate for its future root growth, as it will grow tremendously and does not like to be crowded.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐉𝐀𝐒𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐞𝐱𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬. 𝐈𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬. Our jasmine vine has over 75-80 buds on a daily basis and the flowers bloom by night while you can enjoy the fragrance wafting through when you’re seated nearby. For best results, grow jasmine near a wall or fence in moist but well-drained soil in a sheltered, sunny, site. Many varieties will tolerate shade, but they do best in full sun. Here’s our Finale! We ‘grew together’ in 10 weeks!! We embarked on this incredible journey 10 weeks ago where we started with soil building and finished up today with harvest and it’s preservation. I’ve learnt so much from these young energetic minds and I’m so proud to have nurtured their existing love for nature. This week we learnt to make herbal germicides and organic pesticides. When dealing with lawn and garden fungal diseases, homemade lawn fungicide or homemade plant fungicide often solves these problems without damaging the environment and risking the health of you, your children and pets. @ Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Food scraps and yard waste together currently make up more than 30 percent of what we throw away, and could be composted instead. Today we harvested Bottle Gourd, 2 types of Aubergines, 3 types of tomatoes and our regular suspects - beetroots and white radish
These were all planted at different times between November and January. Ample sunlight, sound watering and lots of love culminates into a basket full of goodness! Next harvest coming!! @ Dubai, United Arab Emirates
