A recommendation for anyone in Al Bandar considering renovation or upgrade work.

We’ve personally used Scott at Red Kite Renovations and have been extremely impressed. He’s incredibly patient, takes the time to properly understand exactly what you want, and then executes it to a very high standard. He’s also remarkably efficient — the amount of progress he achieved on a day-to-day basis was outstanding.

Our home had already undergone an extensive, high-spec renovation, and we waited a considerable amount of time before finding someone we trusted sufficiently to undertake further work and address a number of existing issues. Scott has more than lived up to that trust and has now become our go-to contractor for anything renovation-related.

Another major advantage for us is that Scott is based here in Abu Dhabi. Our original renovation was undertaken by a Dubai-based contractor, which inevitably created logistical challenges, so having someone of Scott’s quality locally is a real benefit.

He knows the Al Bandar buildings extremely well and undertakes bathrooms, kitchens, built-in wardrobes, flooring and wider renovation and improvement works. For villas, he also undertakes external works, landscaping and swimming pools.

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

Popped into duconodl this morning and came back with a notebook full of ideas.

It’s the kind of showroom where you turn a corner and your brain just starts renovating, a curved stone bench with light tucked underneath, a twin-spout water wall down stacked stone, a full outdoor kitchen. I’m already visualising how some of these land in the projects I’ve got coming up.

Not every project is a full renovation. This week, my son Mac and I had the privilege of building a custom ramp for Leo – a very good boy and a very distinguished senior Golden Retriever.

His owner, Lyndsey, simply wanted to make sure he could get around safely and comfortably in his golden years. Being trusted to help with something that means so much to a family is exactly why we love what we do.

Enjoy your new ramp, Leo. You’re an absolute legend, and it was an honour to build it for you. Watch to the end to see his happy jump!

Back from a great family holiday and feeling fully refreshed after the wee break ☀️

It was good to switch off for a few days, spend some quality time together, and recharge before a busy few summer ahead.

Now it’s back to site visits, inspections, and projects across Abu Dhabi — and we’re looking forward to getting stuck back in.

The final product 🪏

This project in Redwoods, Yas Acres was a total transformation with the addition of a 7x4 concrete pool, outdoor kitchen and bar, perimeter planting and an aluminium surface pump room with storage.
We especially love the wood effect porcelain pool deck tiles and the polished concrete counter tops.
Perfect garden for entertaining friends, still loads of space for the kids to play sports and super low maintenance.
Special thanks to Paul for the top to bottom clean before handing the garden over to the clients for Eid ✨

What a great project transforming a sand pit into a functional outdoor living space packed with greenery and designed to be properly enjoyed.

It was a pleasure working with Chris and having the trust to completely transform the garden from start to finish.

What started as a small idea has grown into a business built on hard work, good people, and a genuine passion for helping homeowners manage their properties and projects properly.
