We are delighted to see the great progress being made on site at Central Park at City Walk. As Lead Design Consultant and Construction Supervision Consultant, Dewan continues to oversee the delivery of the 117,318 m² development for Dubai Holding, working alongside CallisonRTKL as Lead Architect.

Central Park at City Walk brings homes, shops, cafés, restaurants and leisure spaces together around a private landscaped park. The idea is to give residents more opportunities to walk, spend time outdoors and connect with one another while living in the heart of Dubai.

Having supported the project over the years, it is rewarding to see it taking shape as our teams continue to work closely on site through to completion.

When we designed Sol Forest, we wanted to do more than add planting to a high-rise
building. We wanted residents to experience nature as part of everyday life, even high above
the ground.

Sol Forest was our first built project in Asia, which made it particularly meaningful for us as
our work continued to grow internationally. As Lead Architect for the 129,000 m² development in Hưng Yên, Vietnam, we designed two towers rising 42 and 35 storeys, with 1,194 apartments between them. Across both towers, we carried the landscape of the wider Ecopark community upward through the architecture.

As the landscape moves up the towers, planted balconies bring gardens closer to each home
while providing shade and softening the buildings. At the podium, gardens, cafés, restaurants and shared spaces give residents places to spend time outdoors and connect, bringing the calm and community of the countryside into high-rise living.

As projects become larger and more complex, with tighter deadlines, we are constantly rethinking how we respond to the changing needs of the market. One of the ways we are addressing this challenge at Dewan is by connecting expertise across our 19 architectural studios, 12 in-house design departments, and network of 200 specialist consultants.

In our latest video, Samer Touqan, Managing Principal, Projects & Design Delivery Division, and other members of the division discuss this approach in more detail, exploring how greater collaboration across disciplines is helping us navigate increasingly complex project demands.

Our interns, moving design forward.

As they bring fresh ideas to their teams and share what they are learning along the way, we celebrate National Intern Day with Joud Toulimat, our Interior Design Intern, and Grace Lusenaka, our Architectural Detail Design Intern, who take us through a day at Dewan.

Delivering Aquarabia meant bringing together extensive rockwork, themed environments, ride systems, and complex structural requirements across 22 rides and experiences in eight immersive zones. One of the key challenges was Camel Rock, an 82-metre-high man-made themed mountain and the visual centrepiece of the park. Its irregular form, internal passages, and dual-layer structure required close coordination across disciplines.

Our role on this Qiddiya City | مدينة القدية project included lead design and supervision, architecture, structural engineering, and coordination of the wider design disciplines. The project was developed in close collaboration with Qiddiya | القدية | القدية and Falcon’s Creative Group, which led the theme park master planning and creative design.

As we celebrate the second anniversary of Reem Mall, we are proud to have played a key role in the delivery of this contemporary, world-class retail and leisure destination by Al Farwaniya Property Developments.

Serving as Lead Architect from Schematic Design through IFC, and continuing with supervision up to completion, Dewan supported Mall at every stage of its journey. Spanning 598,000 m², the mall is now home to more than 400 retail, dining, and entertainment destinations, as well as Snow Abu Dhabi, one of the world’s largest indoor snow parks, bringing together 20 rides and attractions within a snow-covered landscape.

It is rewarding to see visitors experiencing and enjoying a landmark retail destination in Abu Dhabi that we are proud to have helped bring to life.

Shura Links, Saudi Arabia’s first championship island golf course, is set on the exclusive Shura Island, a 140-hectare, 18-hole, par-72 destination where turquoise waters meet sculpted desert dunes, developed by in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

Designed by world-renowned golf architect Brian Curley, with an iconic clubhouse by , we played a key role in the detailed design development, translating the vision into coordinated, buildable solutions for one of the region’s most ambitious coastal developments.

As part of the Coral Bloom masterplan, Shura Links is seamlessly integrated within a network of luxury resorts, offering resort guests access to a unique destination enriched by premium amenities, including a signature clubhouse and hospitality spaces, luxury resort interfaces, marina and waterfront experiences, and curated leisure facilities, establishing a new benchmark for luxury on the Red Sea coast.
