🔧 Tank Liner Light Testing – Precision in Practice

During our liner installation process, the tank is progressively raised row by row until all 8 levels are complete. Once assembled, we conduct a controlled light test inside a confined space, working in near darkness to maximise visibility of any defects.

Using high-beam or flood lights, we carefully inspect the liner for:

- Manufacturing defects
- Custom fabrication inconsistencies
- Transportation or handling damage

If any light penetrates through the liner from the opposite side, it immediately highlights a defect. We then:
✔ Stop work
✔ Mark the defect
✔ Repair both sides of the liner
✔ Re-test to ensure full integrity

This process also forms part of hands-on training for new team members, ensuring they understand the importance of precision, quality control, and attention to detail.

During this inspection, we identified and repaired 9 minor defects during the initial row-by-row checks. After full assembly and final light testing, no additional defects were found.

💧 This level of testing ensures zero leaks and long-term performance.

My heartfelt condolences to the Nyenje family, our in-laws, and the entire family during this deeply painful time.

It is with a heavy heart that I mourn the loss of my sister, (on the extreme left of this photo) whom I had not seen for over 25 years. By God’s grace, we were reunited briefly at the funeral of our beloved aunt, Mrs. Ben Moyo. We shared a short but beautiful moment, and she had the chance to meet my son for the very first time. I will forever cherish that encounter, not knowing it would be our last.

The tragic and senseless loss of her, her husband, and their child has left us devastated beyond words.

No family deserves such pain.
As we continue to mourn, especially with the recent tragedies in Guruve and across Mashonaland Central, we pray for God’s intervention. May He bring comfort to all grieving families, justice where it is due, and peace to our land.

May He cleanse our communities of such evil and restore safety, love, and humanity among us.
May their souls rest in eternal peace.
