RUSTIC LOOK. RECYCLED MATERIAL. BUILT FOR THE OUTDOORS. 🌿♻️

At first glance, you might think this is weathered or charred timber.

It's not.

This picnic bench is made from recycled plastic lumber developed by Plastpave Zambia, finished with a rustic, weathered, charred-lumber look.

We love this finish because it gives the furniture a natural, rugged character while using a material that doesn't rely on newly harvested timber.

Perfect for:

🌿 Gardens & homes
🏕️ Lodges & camps
🌳 Parks & outdoor spaces
🏫 Schools & recreational areas
🏢 Commercial outdoor spaces

It's another example of what we're exploring at Plastpave:

Take waste → develop the material → design something people actually want.

Because sustainable products don't have to look like they're made from recycled materials.

Sometimes they can look really good. 😉

♻️ From Waste. To Value. For Life.

WHAT IF YOUR DRIVEWAY COULD HELP KEEP PLASTIC OUT OF THE ENVIRONMENT? ♻️🏡

This is one of the ideas behind our Plastpave recycled-plastic pavers.

We take difficult-to-recycle plastic waste — including film plastics and wrappers — and transform it into paving products for domestic and residential spaces.

Think:

🏡 Driveways
🌿 Garden paths
🚶🏾 Walkways
☀️ Patios
🏠 Home entrances
🌳 Courtyards & private yards

It's a simple idea with a bigger purpose:

Turn waste into something useful.

We're continuing to test, improve and develop our products, and for now we're focusing our pavers on applications where we can confidently demonstrate their performance.

Because sustainable innovation isn't about making the biggest claim.

It's about making something that works — and proving it.

Would you use recycled-plastic pavers around your home?

YES or NO? 👇🏾

And if YES, where would you put them?

We successfully completed the pig feeders made from our composite boards. This is a true demonstration for waste to value in agriculture and animal rearing.

♻️ FROM WASTE TO VALUE ♻️

Every day, thousands of tonnes of plastic waste are discarded and viewed as a problem.

At Plastpave Zambia, we see something different.

We see raw materials.
We see opportunity.
We see innovation.
We see a cleaner future.

Through recycling and upcycling, we transform plastic waste into valuable products while creating economic opportunities and helping reduce environmental pollution.

One of the most rewarding parts of our journey is seeing people change their perception of waste. New team members often arrive seeing plastic as rubbish. Before long, they begin to recognize its potential as a resource capable of creating products, jobs, income, and sustainable solutions.

This transformation in mindset is just as important as the transformation of the material itself.

Our journey has not always been easy. Building a recycling enterprise in an industry that many overlook requires persistence, consistency, and an unwavering belief in the value hidden within what others discard.

Today, we continue to prove that waste is not the end of a story—it is the beginning of a new one.

🌍 Never Despise Small Beginnings

♻️ Every journey starts somewhere…

These photos take us back to 2021 — when we produced some of our very first pavers at Plastpave Zambia.

At the time, we didn’t have the most advanced setup.

We were experimenting, learning, failing, improving, and trying again.

Some days were tough.

Some results were imperfect.

But we kept going.

Looking back today, these pavers represent more than just a product. They represent resilience, innovation, and the courage to start before everything is figured out.

Every challenge became a lesson.

Every setback became part of the process.

Today, as we continue developing sustainable solutions from waste plastic, we remain proud of these humble beginnings — because they laid the foundation for everything we are building now 🌱

To every innovator, entrepreneur, and dreamer: Don’t stop because the journey gets difficult. Keep refining.

Keep learning. Keep building.

Great things take time ♻️💚
