A. The cables are not neatly arranged, but the installation is electrically safe.

B. The conductors have been joined/taped in an unsafe manner, with exposed/loose connections and no proper junction box or mechanical protection.

C. The only problem is that the cables are different colours.

Why?

Electrical joints should be properly enclosed, secured and insulated in an appropriate junction box or approved enclosure. In these photos, there are taped connections, loose/exposed conductors and inadequate protection, creating potential risks of electric shock, short-circuiting, overheating and fire.
