**1. Quantity Surveyor**
**Role Overview:**
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage cost estimation, budgeting, and financial oversight for construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered within budget while maintaining quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents.
- Monitor project expenditures and provide cost-control reports.
- Evaluate contractor/vendor invoices and manage payment certifications.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and project teams to resolve financial queries.
- Ensure compliance with contractual agreements.

**Requirements:**
- Diploma in Quantity Surveying
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in building construction projects.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Proficiency in QS software and MS Office.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

**2. Construction Manager**
**Role Overview:**
We require a skilled Construction Manager to oversee on-site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to specification.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Supervise and coordinate daily site activities, subcontractors, and laborers.
- Monitor compliance with health, safety, and quality protocols.
- Interpret construction plans and ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Track progress and report to directors.
- Manage material deliveries and equipment usage.

**Requirements:**
- Diploma in Construction Management or a minimum 5 years of experience as a construction manager.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with construction software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD).

POSITION INFO:
Job Title: Driver
Location: Somerset West

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Primary Industry: Construction, Landscaping & Irrigation

Job Duties:
1. Transport goods and materials from one place to another in a safe and timely manner
2. Ensure all deliveries are completed on time
3. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine checks to ensure it is in good working condition
4. Follow all traffic laws and regulations
5. Assist with loading and unloading of goods

Required Qualifications:
1. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
2. A valid PDP would be an advantage

IRRIGATION MANAGER POSITION AVAILABLE

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced commercial and residential irrigation specialist (installation and design). The suitable candidate will be required to see clients, measure up, design and oversee the installation of irrigation systems.

REMUNERATION PACKAGE:
Salary negotiable but will be negotiated depending on skills, qualifications and experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support company estimating department during project cost estimation phase.
Interpretation and planning of irrigation systems, pump stations and other related designs supplied by others
Manage all aspects of installation, repair, maintenance and programming of irrigation systems
Prepare estimates / quotes of variation works.
Populate and manage quote controls
Juggle multiple projects and provide cost estimates
Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, colleagues and suppliers
Monitor each stage of construction to ensure that costs are in line with budget.
Provide financial progress reports to the landscape construction team and directors.
Manage operations through the application of sound technical, quality and labor management practices

CONSTRUCTION SITE MANAGER POSITION AVAILABLE IN THE CONSTRUCTION AND GENERAL BUILDING MAINTENANCE INDUSTRY. REQUIRED TO START 6 JANUARY 2025.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Min Education - Grade 12.
2. Minimum 5 years previous experience in the construction industry essential.
3. Construction Management and Quantity Surveying diploma would be an advantage.
4. Must be able to work unsupervised and drive and monitor construction progress on a daily basis.
5. Must have a good command of the English and Afrikaans language.
