Built on Grit, Grown Through Generations
The Story of one operator and 3 Roses
Some businesses are launched. Others are built to last.
The Dirt Dogs legacy began in 1978 with Jim Rose and Tudor Plant Rentals, driven by trust, reliability, and the Rose family motto: Constant and True.
Happy Mdikli joined in 1988, growing under Jim’s guidance and becoming a key part of the team.
Chris Rose launched Dirt Dogs Plant Hire in 1994. When Jim retired in 1996, Happy moved over to continue the journey with Chris.
The story grows with Kyle Rose and DigTech Plant Hire. Happy now connects two companies and three generations of Roses, united by shared history and trust.
That’s the Dirt Dogs difference.
More than plant hire — it’s a legacy still breaking ground, together.

Merry Christmas to everyone. Thank you for all the support in 2025, see you in 2026 for an even better year
