We completed this ring feed and taps system inside a townhouse estate. The estate already had a borehole and tanks system. We upgraded the pressure pump from a 1.1kw to a 2.2kw vsd pump and ran a 770m ring feed system, we had to open and close around 300m of paving and ran the rest of the pipe including all the joints and fittings inside the gardens to make sure it is serviceable. We installed taps at selected points where the estate and the residents can access the borehole water. We struck strong water in Garsfontein on 24m, we drilled the hole up to 60m. The estimated yield is between 3000 and 5000L/H. We struck a massive amount of water at only 27m, we could only manage to drill this hole up 30m. The water fracture is so large the stones are as big as ones palm of your hand. Needless to say this retired gentleman is very happy with the outcome.
