*MOKOPANE β 13 September 2026*
A swift and coordinated multi-agency operation has resulted in the arrest of three suspects and the recovery of two vehicles, a fi***rm and approximately 75 cellphones following a business robbery in Mokopane on Sunday afternoon.
The robbery took place at Cash Crusaders in Thabo Mbeki Street, Mokopane, at approximately 13:00.
Five suspects, at least one of whom was armed with a fi***rm, allegedly entered the store and threatened employees before making off with approximately 75 cellphones, two speakers and R1 620 in cash. The total value of the stolen property was estimated at more than R307 000.
The suspects fled the scene in a white Toyota Quest displaying false registration plates.
Following the robbery, information was immediately shared between law-enforcement, security and tracking partners. Investigative work led to the identification of the vehicle involved and established that it was travelling in the direction of Marble Hall.
*Ratel TJ Security and Marble Hall SAPS* were alerted and placed on standby. The vehicle was subsequently spotted and successfully intercepted.
Two suspects were arrested during the operation and a fi***rm with its serial number filed off was recovered.
Further investigation linked a second vehicle, a silver Toyota Etios, to the incident. The Etios was also successfully intercepted and a third suspect was arrested. A large number of cellphones believed to have been stolen during the robbery were recovered from the vehicle.
The operation developed into a coordinated effort involving role players across *Limpopo, Mpumalanga and Gauteng*, demonstrating what can be achieved when information is shared quickly and different organisations work together towards a common goal.
The operation has so far resulted in *three arrests, two recovered vehicles, approximately 75 recovered cellphones and the recovery of a fi***rm*.
The success was made possible through excellent cooperation between *Marble Hall SAPS, the Provincial Investigation Unit, the Provincial Tracking Team, Naboomspruit CPF, Ratel TJ Security, ShadowSecure, Tracker SA, Kraftt Solutions, Wezindlela Group and Florensic Fosenie*.
The investigation is continuing, with efforts underway to identify and arrest the remaining suspects involved in the robbery.
The case is being investigated under *Mokopane CAS 176/09/2026*.
