⚠️ POWER OUTAGE NOTICE ⚠️

The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality’s Electricity and Energy Directorate is aware of a widespread power outage currently affecting several areas across the metro.

📍 AFFECTED AREAS:
• South End
• Lorraine
• Walmer
• Fairview
• Humewood
• Summerstrand
• Surrounding areas

Technical teams have been dispatched and are actively investigating the cause of the outage. Every effort is being made to identify the fault and restore electricity supply to affected residents and businesses as quickly and safely as possible.

The Municipality understands the significant inconvenience that unexpected power outages cause to households, businesses, healthcare facilities, and other essential services. We sincerely apologise for the disruption and thank residents for their patience and understanding while our teams work to resolve the matter.

At this stage, the cause of the outage is still being investigated. Further updates will be provided as soon as more information becomes available.
