🛡️ VIP PROTECTION SERVICES IN SOUTH AFRICA & ACROSS AFRICA | Planned, Intelligence-Led Close Protection by IPS
When most people think of VIP protection, they imagine flashing lights and visible muscle. At Intelligence VIP Protection Services (IPS), we know the truth: the officer standing beside the principal is the last layer of protection—not the whole plan.
True close protection happens hours and days before the principal ever steps out the door. Primary and alternate routes are driven at the exact hour of travel. Venues are surveyed on foot. Arrival and departure points are selected for fast clearance. Bottlenecks are identified, and fallback options are locked in.
That proactive, intelligence-led doctrine is why corporate executives, diplomatic envoys, high-net-worth families, and international delegations rely on IPS across South Africa and Africa.
🏛️ WHAT VIP PROTECTION MEANS AT IPS
IPS is a PSIRA-registered, B-BBEE Level 1 private security company headquartered in Midrand, Johannesburg. Our Protection Division runs operations across all 9 South African provinces and coordinates multi-jurisdictional movements into key African business hubs alongside our aviation and logistics partners.
We grade every deployment around a documented threat picture:
• A visiting executive in Sandton needs a competent single officer and a driver who knows the escape routes.
• A family with a documented threat history needs a 24/7 rotating team, residential security post, and an integrated communications plan.
We tell you which one you need before we quote, and we cost every proposal line-by-line.
