KEEPING WATCH. KEEPING CAPE TOWN SAFER. 👀🚨

Safety isn’t just about responding when something happens — it’s about being present, staying visible and working together with our communities.

Our Fidelity ADT Special Response Unit (SRU) was out on Kenmore Road on bin day, conducting a clean-up while also carrying out high-visibility patrols alongside SAPS.

🚨 TWO SUSPECTS ARRESTED IN HERMANUS! 🚨

A quick alert. A sharp eye. A fast response.

On Tuesday morning, 1 September, an alert was issued after two suspects allegedly broke into a home in Onrus and fled on bicycles towards Sandbaai.

Fidelity ADT Guarding Area Manager Botes was in the area when the alert came through and immediately started searching for the suspects.

It didn’t take long.

Botes spotted two males matching the description, followed them and successfully cut them off in Zwelihle, where he detained both suspects.

A member of the Hermanus Neighbourhood Watch arrived moments later to assist. A search of the suspects’ bags uncovered tools, which the property owner later confirmed belonged to him.

Both suspects were handed over to Hermanus SAPS for further investigation.

This is what happens when rapid response, vigilance and strong community partnerships come together.

Fire drills save lives!

Our Fidelity SecureFire crews recently assisted with a fire drill at a local company in Krugersdorp, helping employees put their emergency procedures to the test.

The drill provided an opportunity to practise evacuation procedures, strengthen teamwork and ensure everyone knows what to do when faced with a real fire emergency.

Because when an emergency happens, there’s no time to figure it out — preparation matters.

Regular fire drills help create safer workplaces and more confident, prepared teams. 🧯

Fighting flames to protect what matters!

Our Fidelity SecureFire crews responded alongside the local municipal fire service to a commercial structure fire in Boksburg.

Working together, firefighters focused on containing the blaze within the affected premises, while continuously monitoring conditions and supporting firefighting operations to keep the area safe.

Through a coordinated response and determined teamwork, the fire was brought under control, helping limit its potential impact on the property.
