The History of Security Doors & Burglar Bars.

🏪 By the 1800s, businesses and shop owners began installing iron bars over windows to protect their goods from theft. This is where the modern burglar bar began to take shape.
🏠 Over time, burglar bars became increasingly popular in residential homes as families looked for better ways to protect their loved ones and belongings.
🇿🇦 In South Africa, the demand for security doors and burglar bars grew significantly during the 1970s and 1980s as home security became a greater priority.
